THE PROMISE
PACT contributes 15% of gross profit on every order to the PACT Fund. Gross profit means the revenue we receive after paying our suppliers.
At our typical 30% margins, that works out to about 5% of what you pay — roughly $0.50 on a $10 order, $2.25 on a $50 order, and $4.50 on a $100 order.
The Fund is granted to a community-nominated rescue, once the Fund has built up enough to make a real difference.
Every recipient is real, named, and verified.

We contribute 15% of gross profit on every order. "Gross profit" means the revenue left after paying our suppliers. At our typical 30% margins, that works out to about 5% of what you pay — roughly $0.50 from a $10 order or $2.25 from a $50 order.
Honest answer: we want to make a promise we can always keep. Every product we sell has costs — what we pay our suppliers, what we pay Shopify and Stripe to process the sale. Pegging our Fund contribution to gross profit (rather than total revenue) means our commitment is based on dollars we actually receive, after the largest cost of doing business. We'd rather be transparent about this and keep our word than make a bigger promise we might have to walk back.
They're the same commitment, said two ways. "15% of gross profit" is the exact accounting number — it's how we calculate the contribution in our books. "About 5%" is the practical number a customer feels when they look at their receipt. We use the customer-perception number where space is tight, and the precise number where we have room to explain. Both are honest.
Our community nominates rescues either with a DM, message on the channel page, or through our ominate a Hero menu item. When the fund builds, we check with our followers if we think it's time!
We set up a live session with anyone of our community who wishes to review nominations and select a recipient based on what they've done, and their needs.
The reality is every one of these rescues deserves and could use the funding. All we can do is help one at a time.

No. PACT is a for-profit business with a mission commitment. We contribute 15% of gross profit on every order to verified rescues. We chose this structure because it allows us to give this mission focus, reinvest in growing the business and the Fund together and keeps us accountable to customers rather than donors; lets us scale without grant cycles.
Yes! If you go to the cart (checkout), you will have an option to donate. 100% of donations go to the rescues.
Yes, we provide free standard shipping on all orders over $100. For orders under $100, a small shipping fee applies, which will be shown at checkout.
If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 for a full refund. Please ensure the item is unused and in its original packaging.

We would love to get to a regular monthly cadence, but it will all come down to the size of the PACT Fund. We will reach out to the community to check in, or we will take queues from our community that it is time.
Every grant will be documented in our Past Grants section above with the recipient name, amount, date, and (when available) a link to the story or coverage of the rescue. We share grant announcements publicly on our blog and social channels, and present live the donation to the rescue of our choosing.
